Turmeric is one of the most potent natural cure-all.  Turmeric lemonade will give you a good daily dose of turmeric.

Although there are many other ways to get your fill of turmeric, this recipe is particularly tasty. It can also be used in combination with this anti-anxiety lemonade.

Turmeric Lemonade Recipe
[Makes 4 servings]

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups cold filtered or sparkling water
  • 2 tablespoons freshly grated or powdered turmeric
  • 4 tablespoons 100% maple syrup or honey (you could even do half of each)
  • Juice of 1 1/2 lemons
  • Optional: add the juice of 1 blood orange

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients into a small pitcher, stir and serve.
